What if Your World Changed Overnight?

We all define the world around us in different ways, some through power, money, status, emotions, family, career, religion, politics, etc. For as many individuals as there are in the world, there are ways to perceive how the world operates. But, what if we have been wrong this whole time? Have you ever tried to picture what the world would be like, without some of those things you have come to rely on today?

This is a question of getting to the heart of how you define the way you interact with the world, and reaching deep down to the collective agreements that we have all participated in with the Oneness of all. What if things did not have to be the way they are now? What if totally different (and even better) options were available to us? What if everything you thought was true, wasn’t so? These are powerful questions to ponder on.

Each one of us, through our upbringing, family history, peer influence, and media programming have a set of ideas, beliefs and morals that we base our understanding of the world on. They are often a part of how we see ourselves. At different times in your life, you will call into question each one of these. This is a natural, and some might say essential, part of the personal/spiritual development process. How else can we decide what is true for us, if we don’t question that truth to begin with?

That being said, the process of dismantling the core foundation of your world, can be the source of super intense emotion. This is where the help, empathy and guidance of others can make a difference. If you are reading this article, you are a forerunner/pioneer/wayshower, and a part of what you have chosen to be here for, is to be a guiding light for others whose world is at the precipice of change.

There are many ways that this guiding light role can be accomplished; through encouraging words, healing modalities, the wisdom of experience, and also guiding each person to go through the process in their own time, in their own way. Each individual is their own best teacher, but they can also need the encouragement, guidance and assistance of others, especially in times of tremendous change. Another way that you can assist, is by teaching others about discernment. Discernment that comes, not only from knowledge, but also in trusting your own intuitive antenna. In knowing how to discern what truths are your own, from what you had been taught as a reflection of another’s truth.

Yes, each person is entitled to their own truth; to speak it, to live it, to be it. It is so much more powerful to do so, when you can come to the awareness of what your truth really is. That is to discern and differentiate programming, from the knowing of your Soul. We are all in the process of increasing our light quotient, and working at enhancing the upgrade of the body system. This is all part of the grand design, as we move into the new waves of energy, they are increasing, enhancing and guiding our upgrade process. They work hand in hand; as above, so below. We cannot will one to occur separately from another, they are interconnected, just as our own life, thoughts, healing, beliefs and so forth are connected to the Oneness of all.

So, ask yourself the question. What if your world was to change overnight? What if the systems you rely on today, were so different tomorrow that you did not recognize them? This is not about fearful anticipation, this is about trusting that this is a process we (as in Oneness) put into motion long ago. We already know what to do when it occurs, but we do need to remind ourselves that perhaps we had assumed the permanence of things like government, money, relationships, spirituality, beliefs and so forth. All is changing, and in order for us to best navigate that change, it is quite helpful to examine what things/items/people/beliefs are at the central core of your personal beliefs. What if that central belief was wrong? How would your world change because of it? Be open to looking at this process for yourself, even if you have done it before. It will be enlightening for you to find your answers, and also assist you to help others to do the same.

Using Anger as a Force for Change

Anger is a huge energy that is carried over, and often has grown, from incarnation to incarnation. As long as anger is left unresolved, it can very easily turn into a destructive force.

The Ego uses anger by stuffing it away behind other emotions and experiences, often bringing it out when you least expect it. Many individuals actually have a fear of expressing anger, as they feel that it is not “spiritual” to do so. However, expressing anger is the only way to release it. Anger cannot be wiped clean by some magic wand; it has to be released through the process of expression.  It is only when anger is not expressed, that it becomes problematic.

There are many healthy ways to express and release anger. The most important thing when letting the anger go, is to not allow yourself to direct that anger at another person. Most of the time, they are just a convenient target for your anger, and very rarely are they the true source of the anger.  Often, your anger stems from unresolved past life challenges.

However, whenever you direct your anger at someone, you are contributing to your anger’s growth, instead of its neutralization. Also, learn to identify the difference between annoyance and anger. Very often what you call anger is really annoyance. Yes, annoyance can lead to anger, but it begins as a different emotion.

Anger is an overwhelming feeling that can cause you to be totally at the whim of it. It will cause action or reaction without reasoning. Anger is the emotion behind 99% of the misunderstandings on the planet today. Much of that problem is predicated by the fact that most people do not truly comprehend the power that anger has.

Anger, when left to fester and grow inside someone, can contribute to disease, war, and violence. Anger can completely change your perspective of life and the world around you.

What would you like to change? Very often the answer to that question is also the source of your anger. See why neutralizing your anger is so important! Any time you feel anger toward something, look to the root of the anger. Discover what the subject of your anger is. Express that anger in a healthy way, by writing about the topic, or talking to someone you trust, or working with someone who can assist you in transforming the energy. Once you have expressed the anger, you will be able to view it in a new light. Then it becomes a powerful tool for change.

Let’s say, you are angry because a cause you have passion for is not getting enough support or publicity. After you have talked the anger through, look at using your energy to create change on that topic. Perhaps by starting a support groups, or meditation circle on the topic. Hand out flyers informing people, or write an email to your local news, to let others know what is happening. All of these actions are how you can shift your individual anger into a force for change. So, how can you use your anger as a force for change today?

Navigating Change

The month of May has been all about setting new foundations. Whenever you experience changes in your life, you will go through a time when you are building things up once again. This is one of the aspects of change that many find so difficult, as the Ego feels like it is out of control. However, when you can go into the Higher Self and simply trust that everything is as it should be, you will find that you are able to navigate any changes with peace in your heart.

One side effect of change and transition is that it often brings up much anger in individuals. This is because change is a trigger to allow past life energy to be released. That past life energy can have to do with other individuals or dynamics involved in the particular situation. One of the most common repressed sources of anger, is anger at Spirit. Many people do not feel that it is okay to be angry with Spirit. But, you see that anger comes from past life experiences.

There is never anything wrong with feeling anger, but you do need to be aware of how you are processing and expressing it. Anger can be dangerous if you are directing it at others, or at yourself. But, instead if you use your anger as a guide to show you more details of what you need to release, then it can be like a compass to help you navigate the treasure map of your life. Is your compass causing you to get lost in circles of emotion? Or, are you using your compass properly, to assist you in leaving the forest of un-forgiveness? The choice is yours.

A change can be infuriating, or can be freeing. I chose to believe in the latter. Imagine how much you can create in your life when you have the clarity that comes with freedom from your emotion; it is a beautiful thing!
