Ruling Planet – Venus
Corresponding House – 2nd House

Affirmation – “My life is valuable and worthy, not because of outside possessions or circumstances, but because I am a child of God.”
Personality Traits – Taurus sometimes gets a bad rap for being too focused on the material, but the lesson for Taurus is to experience a relationship with material objects, and yet to not define their own vision of themselves by the things (or lack of things) that surround them. Because of this, individuals with a great deal of Taurus energy can project how they feel about themselves onto their possessions. This can also create a tendency to feel unrecognized if someone does not comment on their appearance, house, car or whatever is important to them.
In a Relationship – Taurus will be picky about their own appearance and even your appearance as well. It is not as if they view you as a possession, but they do consider everything around them to be a refection of them, and that does include your appearance. Taurus would rather spend money on saving up to have “nice things” then to purchase something that will do in a pinch. For example, having 2 pairs of high quality socks will be more important to them than 20 pairs of socks from a discount store. This can be a point for great dissension within a relationship if Taurus’s partner does not understand why this viewpoint is important to them.
Spiritual Health – Taurus will want Spirit to “prove themselves” in some way when it comes to Spirit allowing and assisting them with their life. This “proof” will be in whatever form Taurus deems necessary for the moment. Taurus may try different beliefs over time, but when they value a specific belief system, they will stick with it, and even defend it quite vehemently.
Emotional Health – It will be very helpful for Taurus to balance talking with taking action. If one of these becomes out of balance, they can tend to feel burnt out. Taurus would also benefit from belonging to a group that has passion for their interests, like a Classic Car Club, Art Gallery or whatever collectibles and keepsakes interest them.
Mental Health – Taurus can be a bit of a “Hope Junkie” where they live in the future, because “things will be better when I have this or that”. If Taurus can learn to appreciate their life in the now moment, they will find that they begin to experience more messages and synchronicities about allowing their goals to be accomplished. But, if they stay in that place of future thinking, they can lose a grip on being able to accurately assess their priorities.
Physical Health – Taurus should pay attention to digestion and food related conditions. Taurus can be prone to diabetes, liver dysfunction and stomach ulcers. This is because they can fill their life with food and other substances if they do not feel that their needs are being met in other ways. Taurus can also be susceptible to sore throats, and thyroid issues.
Relationship with Food – Taurus individuals tend to be brand devotees, at least until they find something better. The food they choose will be the highest measure of quality by their standards. It would be a rare occasion to see a Taurus buy the store brand of anything. Taurus also likes to eat trendy foods and you can find them at any popular food establishment, where they will probably know the wait staff, or at very least, the maitre-de.
